The Scyllarus team is a group based out of Data61‘s Canberra Lab, in Australia. The team consists of a number of Researchers and Engineers, with many years of experience in the fields of Imaging Spectroscopy and Multi/Hyperspectral Imaging.

Nariman Habili

Lead Engineer

Nariman is a Senior Research Engineer at Data61. He is the lead Engineer of the Scyllarus project and the developer of Scyven. He’s had more than 14 years of R&D experience in industry, academia and government and has lead a number of significant software engineering projects. Nariman received the B.Science and B.Engineering degrees with honours from Flinders University and the PhD degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Adelaide.

Jeremy Oorloff

Engineer

Jeremy is a Research Engineer at Data61. He works on the development of the Scyllarus C++ API, and assists with the development of Scyven. Jeremy received the B.Engineering and B.Computer Science with honours from the ANU. He has three years experience in Computer Vision and several in software development for camera/image processing systems, and optimisation.

Ran Wei

Engineer

Ran is a postdoctoral research fellow at Data61. He has over 10 years of experience in software development involving a number of different computer languages. He has been working with Hyperspectral technologies for over 6 years. He joined NICTA (now Data61) in 2004. Ran received his B.Engineering degree in 1998 from Shandong University of China and holds a PhD in Engineering from the Australian National University.
